GentooPlayer licenses are bound to a specific system and hardware combination.
License changes are allowed only within the same system family:
Switching between different system types is not permitted.
A license change request is allowed only within 18 months from the donation date. On x86 systems, adding or changing a network interface card is considered a hardware change.
Key/license change requests are accepted only if submitted by email in the required format. Please follow the instructions here: Key change procedure. Requests not sent in this way will not be considered.
GentooPlayer images include proprietary scripts and components (gpbin). Redistribution is not allowed without explicit authorization from the author. GentooPlayer is not a standalone Linux distribution, but a customized Gentoo installation focused on audio playback.
Donations are intended to support customization work, proprietary scripts,
binary components, image maintenance, as well as server infrastructure,
bandwidth, and hosting costs. Users must refer to the licenses of the installed
software, available in /usr/share/licenses.
GentooPlayer is provided as is, without any warranty. The author shall not be liable for any damages, data loss, or loss of revenue. Use GentooPlayer at your own risk.
